The forkmount is very sturdy and attaches to the base of the binocular. Side mounting fittings are included if this is your preferred manner of attachment. The tripod is a metal legged, EQG style offering that provides a steady base for the mount and binocular.
All air to glass surfaces are multicoated including the BaK 4 prisms.

One highlight of this binocular is the ability to use almost any 1.25" and 2" eyepiece in the sturdy 2" helical focuser. The field of view that can be achieved with a low power eyepiece is almost unheralded in consumer binocular design.
